Durée & résiliation
- Durée : Section 1 : a) The guarantee for the construction-assembly-testing period: Starts for objects to be assembled, building materials and components as well as huts, materials, equipment and construction machinery after unloading them on site. Ends: For each structure, part of a structure (including its equipment) on the earlier of the following dates: end of the testing period provided for in the special conditions, provisional acceptance, occupation or commissioning; For huts, materials, equipment and construction site machinery: upon their removal and at the latest at the end of the construction-assembly-testing period. b) Maintenance period guarantee: begins for each work, part of the work (including its equipment) upon expiry of the guarantee provided for above under (a).
- Droit spécial : The box "How do I cancel the contract ?" states no cancellation terms. It prints, verbatim and in full: "Decide what to write, as the cancellation terms are different (single premium, etc.)." and "E.g. Cancellation is possible within 30 days of receipt of the contract documents" — an unfinished editorial placeholder, confirmed on a render of the published PDF. The 30-day figure is given by the document as an example ("E.g."), not as this contract's term, so it has not been recorded as a notice period.
Prime
- The amount indicated for the premium is payable after receipt of the notice of due date or, if necessary, after receipt of the statement at the end of the work or in the event of an extension of the insurance.
- The premium cannot be paid monthly.
Conditions particulières
- Your advantage: all those involved on the site are considered insured, so there is no need to look for the person responsible, which ensures quick and easy settlement in the event of a claim. p. 1
- The box "How do I cancel the contract ?" of the published document contains an editorial placeholder instead of the cancellation terms: "Decide what to write, as the cancellation terms are different (single premium, etc.)." followed by "E.g. Cancellation is possible within 30 days of receipt of the contract documents". p. 2
- The box "What is not insured?" and the box "Are there any restrictions on cover ?" each end with the mention "Non-exhaustive list". p. 1
- This document is not tailored to your specific needs and the information and obligations set out herein are not exhaustive. For full information on the rights and obligations of the insurance company and policyholders, please consult the general and/or special conditions relating to the insurance product chosen. p. 1
Lacunes d'extraction
- MAJOR DEFECT — THE PUBLISHED IPID CONTAINS AN UNFINISHED EDITORIAL PLACEHOLDER. The box "How do I cancel the contract ?" (page 2, bottom) states no cancellation terms at all. It prints two dashes: "Decide what to write, as the cancellation terms are different (single premium, etc.)." and "E.g. Cancellation is possible within 30 days of receipt of the contract documents". The first is an instruction addressed to the document's own author, not to the policyholder; the second is explicitly flagged as an example ("E.g."). This was verified on an 8x render of the page band y=750-825: the text really is printed, in the same colour and size as the rest of the box, and is not hidden or off-canvas text. Consequently notice_period, methods and tacit_renewal are left NULL: the document does not state this contract's cancellation terms, and recording "30 days" as if it were the term would put a fact in the dataset that the document explicitly declines to assert. The two lines are kept verbatim in duration_and_cancellation.special_rights, in special_conditions and in key_quotes.
- Carrier / risk bearer: the document names only the brand — "LALUX Assurances - Product : APROBAT Comprehensive construction site insurance" — and otherwise refers to "the Insurer" throughout. No licensed legal entity is named anywhere, so which lalux entity carries the risk cannot be read from this document and has not been asserted.
- SECTION-HEADING / PLACEMENT DEFECTS (kept, not repaired). (a) The exclusion "excluding any immaterial damage" is printed inside the box "What is insured ?", not in "What is not insured?" — it is recorded as an exclusion because that is what it says, with its placement stated in its description. (b) The box "Are there any restrictions on cover ?" contains a single item which is not a restriction of scope but the indemnity-calculation rule (actual value, less salvage, less deductibles); recorded there as printed. (c) The heading is printed "What is not insured?" with no space before the question mark, while every other heading on the two pages uses a thin space (U+2009) — "What is insured ?", "Are there any restrictions on cover ?", "Where am I covered ?". Kept as printed, which is why the quotes differ in that character.
- Insurer's own spelling preserved, not corrected: "Section1 :" with no space between "Section" and "1" (page 1, first line of the box "What is insured ?"), whereas page 2 prints "Section 1 : " with the space.
- No claims procedure exists in this document: there is no box and no sentence describing how to declare a loss, to whom, or within what deadline. claims_procedure is therefore an empty array. This is a genuine absence, not a failed extraction — the obligations box covers only information duties, prevention duties and the forfeiture sanction.
- deductibles: the document refers to "any deductibles provided" as a term of the indemnity calculation but states no amount, no percentage and no minimum anywhere. All deductible fields are therefore null except the page citation and the verbatim wording carried on the base coverage.
- No monetary amount, capital, ceiling or sub-limit is printed anywhere in the document: the only figures are "three months", "30 days" (in the placeholder example) and the section number. The euro-glyph extraction trap does not arise because the document tabulates no amount at all; limits are expressed as a calculation rule (actual value less salvage and deductibles), which is recorded verbatim.
- No edition date, version code or document reference is printed anywhere on the two pages; edition_date and reference left null.
- Document scoping: this IPID covers only "Section 1 – Damage and loss insurance" of APROBAT. The right-hand box also carries "General restrictions in the Comprehensive construction site insurance", i.e. restrictions of the whole product, which are recorded with applies_to "all". Other sections of APROBAT are not described here and nothing about them has been inferred. variant carries the section designation; is_extension is false because Section 1 is a section of the product, not a rider bought on top of a base product.
- target_audience left null: the document names no market segment, only "the policyholder", "the Insurer", "the insured persons" and "all those involved on the site". Deducing "entreprises" from the fact that it is a construction site insurance would be an inference.
- Two-column reading-order check performed and NEGATIVE: page 1 is two columns (left x0≈22.7-204.3, right x0≈278.2-492.5), page 2 is single-column (x0≈65.0-107.6). Every item was re-attached to its box by the y-range of that box's heading and the result matches the flat text order; no exclusion landed in the cover list and no cover landed in the exclusion list. One ordering quirk that is NOT a column inversion: the title block, the disclaimer and the box "What type of insurance is it ?" are printed at the TOP of page 1 (y=29 to 236) but are emitted at the END of page 1 in the flat text, because they are drawn late in the content stream. Their page citation is unaffected.
- Graphics layer: the bullet and cross markers are placed bitmap images, not text and not vector drawings. Page 1 carries 9 image blocks — 4 at x0=65.1 (7.2×7.9, the bullets of the four "Insurable property" items), 4 at x0=348.1 (7.2×7.2, the ✗ markers of the four exclusion items: "Damage caused directly by:", "Non-material damage...", "The following are excluded: ...terrorism", "Damage caused by fraud...") and 1 at x0=350.0 (2.4×8.9, the ! marker of the single restrictions item); 4+4+1=9, the count closes exactly against 4 property bullets, 4 exclusion bullets and 1 restriction bullet. Page 2 carries 1 image. The three sub-items of "Damage caused directly by:" are dashes in the text layer, not images, and are recorded as three separate exclusions. There is no formula or guarantee matrix in this document, so no membership had to be recovered from the graphics layer; is_optional is left null for every coverage because the document never says whether any of them is optional.
- Text-layer integrity verified: our own PyMuPDF page.get_text("text") extraction is byte-identical to the document text supplied in the prompt (2 pages, no truncation). Character scan found no zero-width spaces, no soft hyphens, no PUA/Wingdings leftovers, no U+0007 vectorisation markers, no enciphered block and no ligature loss; the special characters present are 4 curly apostrophes (U+2019), thin spaces (U+2009) in the headings and en dashes (–), all preserved verbatim in key_quotes.
- Language: this is the English version and it was extracted from its own text only. Nothing was borrowed from the French or German siblings of this IPID, including for the empty cancellation box — whatever those siblings may print there has deliberately not been used to fill it.
