  • The wording “Non-exhaustive list” is printed at the foot of the “What is insured ?” box, of the “What is not insured ?” box and of the “Are there any restrictions on cover ?” box. The sector-specific guarantees are themselves introduced as “Specific guarantees (non-exhaustive list)”. p. 1

Lacunes d'extraction

  • CARRIER NOT DETERMINABLE. The document prints only the brand — “LALUX Assurances - Product : easyPROTECT PRO” in the header band, with the “lalux ASSURANCES” logo — and otherwise refers to the insurer as “the insurance company” and “the Company”. No company name, no legal form, no R.C.S. number, no registered address and no supervisory authority appear on either of the 2 pages, which were read in full. That brand alone does not identify which of the authorised entities carries the risk; insurer_name keeps the value supplied by the task (“lalux”).
  • BRANCH DIVERGES FROM THE DOCUMENT, task value kept: the task metadata gives branch: multirisque-professionnelle, whereas the document is titled “easyPROTECT PRO – Civil liability insurance” and describes only civil liability covers (operating CL, after delivery, legal protection, entrusted objects, professional CL, directors' CL, pollution, building CL). There is no property/multi-risk cover in it — a separate lalux IPID (“assurance de choses”) carries that. The task value was copied through as instructed, but the document's own subject is civil liability. Note also that “easyPROTECT PRO” is a commercial range prefix, not a branch: it is recorded as product_family, with “Civil liability insurance” as variant.
  • PRODUCT NAME PRINTED IN TWO FORMS, not reconciled: the title band prints “easyPROTECT PRO – Civil liability insurance” while the product line immediately below prints only “LALUX Assurances - Product : easyPROTECT PRO”. The body repeats “easyPROTECT PRO - Civil liability insurance”. product_name keeps the full title-band form.
  • COVER NAMES DIVERGE BETWEEN PAGE 1 AND PAGE 2, recorded as printed on both sides: page 1 names the optional cover “CL for company executives”, page 2 calls it “Directors' civil liability”; page 1 names “Purely intangible damage”, page 2 “Civil liability for purely immaterial damage”; page 1 names the extension “CL for a building”, page 2 “Real estate civil liability” and adds a “Legal protection for real estate civil liability” cover that is never described on page 1. The page-2 wording is carried in territorial_scope, the page-1 wording in name; neither was rewritten to match the other.
  • TYPOGRAPHIC DEFECT PRESERVED: page 2 prints « The “Real estate civil liability and “Legal protection for real estate civil liability” coverages » with an unbalanced opening quotation mark (no closing mark after “Real estate civil liability”). The quotation is reproduced exactly as printed.
  • THE EIGHT SECTORS OF ACTIVITY ARE RECORDED AS coverages — a declared choice. They are not guarantees, but the document prints them inside the “What is insured ?” box under “Sectors of activity”, each carrying the same green tick image as the guarantees, and every later guarantee refers back to them by number (“all sectors, except sector 2”, “sectors 1, 3, 4, 6 and 8”, “Sector 7: …”). Recording them individually keeps those cross-references resolvable. They carry is_optional: null and no description of their own beyond the printed label.
  • VERIFICATION OF COLUMN ORDER: NEGATIVE (no left/right inversion), but the page-1 layout needs stating because it is not a plain two-column split. The “What is insured ?” box spans BOTH columns: the left column (x0 29.8-43.9, y 250 to 755) and then the top of the right column (x0 308.2-322.4, y 254 to 510, “Optional guarantees” and “Guarantee extensions”), closed by its own “Non-exhaustive list” at y 509.6. Only BELOW that, still in the right column, come “What is not insured ?” (y 537.5) and “Are there any restrictions on cover ?” (y 703.3). The flat text emits them in exactly that printed order, so no covered item landed among the exclusions and no exclusion among the covered items. Attachment was nevertheless rebuilt from coordinates, not from proximity in the flow, and confirmed on a 3x render of the right column.
  • POLARITY CONFIRMED BY GLYPH IDENTITY AND BY RENDER, not by proximity: the bullets are placed images, invisible to get_text. Three distinct bullet images are used and their pixel dimensions separate the three boxes — 120x133 px = green tick (covered), 120x121 px = red cross (not covered), 40x148 px = orange exclamation mark (restriction). The same three glyphs carry the same meanings on the sibling lalux IPIDs handled in this batch. Crucially, the five right-column items at y 281-473 carry the 120x133 GREEN TICK, which is what proves they belong to the covered box and not to the exclusions below them.
  • IMAGE COUNTS CLOSE EXACTLY on page 1: 29 images = 19 green ticks in the left column (8 sectors + 3 operating CL + 1 after delivery + 1 legal protection + 1 entrusted objects + 5 specific guarantees) + 5 green ticks in the right column (CL for company executives, Professional CL, Purely intangible damage, Accidental pollution, CL for a building) + 3 red crosses (the 3 exclusions) + 2 orange marks (the 2 restrictions). 19 + 5 + 3 + 2 = 29. Page 2: 3 images = the 3 bullets of the “Where am I covered ?” box. Every list item is therefore accounted for and none was dropped with its invisible bullet.
  • ITEM PRINTED WITHOUT A BULLET, preserved as a heading and not as an item: inside the “Are there any restrictions on cover ?” box the line “Legal protection and insolvency of liable third parties:” sits between the two orange-marked items, at x0 308.2 instead of the item indent, and carries no bullet image. Confirmed on the render: it is the sub-heading of the second restriction, not a third restriction.
  • READING ORDER INVERTED VERTICALLY (flagged, no effect on attachment): on page 1 the flat text emits the boxes (y 250 to 801) BEFORE the two full-width blocks printed above them — the “Disclaimer” (y0 130.7) and the “What type of insurance is it ?” section (y0 180.6). Those two blocks therefore arrive at the very END of page 1 in the prompt text although they are printed near the top. The title band (y0 41.2) is the only header block emitted in its printed position, first.
  • AMOUNTS ARE PRINTED WITH THE THREE-LETTER CODE, NOT THE € SIGN: “EUR 12,000,000” and “EUR 650 (index 100 - monthly consumption index)”. The € glyph does not occur anywhere in the text layer, and the render confirms that no € is printed either — so no currency symbol was lost in extraction. Both amounts are recorded verbatim, including the comma thousands separators of the English version.
  • NO DEDUCTIBLE, NO WAITING PERIOD, NO PRESCRIPTION PERIOD are mentioned anywhere in the document: deductibles is null, waiting_periods is empty and prescription_period is null. No sub-limit is given per guarantee other than the EUR 650 legal-protection ceiling; the EUR 12,000,000 figure is a single per-claim limit stated to apply to “all the coverages taken out under Liability insurance” and is therefore repeated in each coverage's limits.
  • NO EDITION DATE, no version number and no internal reference are printed on either page: edition_date and reference are null (there is no footer at all; the text layer of page 2 stops after the cancellation rubric).
  • LISTS DECLARED NON-EXHAUSTIVE BY THE DOCUMENT ITSELF: “Non-exhaustive list” closes all three boxes, and the sector guarantees are introduced as “Specific guarantees (non-exhaustive list)”. The 24 coverages and 5 exclusions recorded here are what this IPID prints, not the full cover and exclusion set of the product.
  • EXTRACTED IN ITS OWN LANGUAGE ONLY: the French and German versions of this same IPID exist in the corpus and were NOT consulted to complete, verify or reword anything. Every value comes from the English text layer of this file.
  • TEXT FULLY EXTRACTED AND VERIFIED: the text layer re-extracted from the PDF with page.get_text("text") via PyMuPDF is character-for-character identical to the text supplied in the prompt (page 1: 6093 characters, page 2: 3154 characters; the prompt only adds a trailing newline to page 1). No truncation. No stray characters: no U+0007, no U+200B, no U+00AD, no private-use-area glyph, no combining accent, no hyphenated word split across a line break. The only notable character is the thin space U+2009 before colons and question marks in the headings, kept as-is in the quotations.
  • NO VECTORISED AND NO ENCIPHERED TEXT: both pages deliver a readable MyriadPro text layer that matches the render.
  • THE key_quotes WERE SLICED PROGRAMMATICALLY as exact spans of the re-extracted PDF text layer (never retyped); none crosses a page boundary, so none swallows a [page N] marker. The structured descriptions normalise the justification line breaks and are therefore not quotable as such.
  • PAGINATION: the document prints no folio. The page numbers cited are those of the [page N] markers, which correspond to PDF pages 1 and 2 (a 2-page document).
