Conditions particulières
- Disclaimer : this document is not personalised according to your specific needs and the information and obligations provided in this document are not exhaustive. For full information on the rights and obligations of the insurance company and the insured person, please refer to the general and/or special conditions relating to the insurance product chosen. p. 1

The document does not state who operates that channel or that DKV is a carrier of this contract. p. 2
- The cover applicable is the cover linked to the card active on the date of the claim. p. 2
Lacunes d'extraction
- No edition date, version code or document reference is printed anywhere on the two pages, so
edition_dateandreferenceare null. The PDF file metadata carries a creation and modification date of 2025-03-19 08:32:00+01:00 and an InDesign source name “IPID_SPUERKEESS Cartes de crédit_Assistance et Hors assistance_VISA PREMIER_EN.indd”; that is file metadata, not printed content, so it was not used as the edition date. - Carrier: the document prints the brand “LALUX Assurances” in the header banner and names “the Compensation Department of LA LUXEMBOURGEOISE” in the obligations section. It states NO legal form, NO RCS number and NO address, so it is not possible to tell from this document whether the authorised entity is LA LUXEMBOURGEOISE S.A. (non-vie) or another entity.
insurer_namerecords the printed brand “LALUX Assurances” rather than the task metadata value “lalux”. - Third parties named in the document but not identified as the carrier: WillisTowers Watson Luxembourg S.A. / Willis Towers Watson Luxembourg S.A. (claims intake, both spellings appear on page 2), SPUERKEESS (card issuer and policyholder-side website host), and the e-mail address assistance@dkv.lu for Assistance notification. The document does not say that DKV underwrites any part of this cover, so no DKV entity has been recorded as an insurer.
- Branch: the task metadata gives
autresand it has been copied through unchanged. The document is travel-related cover attached to a credit card (“Insured persons benefit from a range of insurance cover when travelling”) and would arguably fit thevoyageslug of sources/lu/_country.yml; the mismatch is flagged rather than resolved, because the package also contains purchase protection, internet-delivery and cash-emergency covers that are not travel covers. - The second bullet of the NON-ASSISTANCE cover list is printed truncated: “CANCELLATION / INTERRUPTION OF”, with no object after “OF”. Verified against a 2.2x render of page 1 — the page really does print it that way; the words are not lost from the text layer. It is recorded verbatim, and it is NOT merged with the following bullet “FLIGHT, LOSS AND DELAY OF LUGGAGE”, which is a separate bullet on the page.
- No amounts, sums insured, sub-limits, deductibles or waiting periods appear anywhere in this document; every coverage carries only a capitalised heading.
deductibles,waiting_periodsandprescription_periodare therefore null/empty because the document is silent, not because they were not extracted. - The document has no “When and how do I pay ?” section and no “When does the cover start and end ?” section — two sections the standard IPID template normally carries.
premiumis null in consequence. Inception and termination are stated only inside the “How do I cancel the contract ?” box, and are recorded under duration_and_cancellation. - The document refers three times to General Terms and Conditions that it does not reproduce (“Each type of cover has its own specific exclusions, wich can be consulted in thee relevant General Terms and Conditions”, and the Disclaimer). No reference, edition or URL for those conditions is given, and no such conditions générales document is present for this product in the lalux document set.
- Both exclusion boxes carry the printed footnote “Non-exhaustive list”, so the 11 exclusions recorded are all the document prints but are not all the exclusions that apply to the product.
- Printed typographic defects preserved verbatim and not corrected: “wich” for “which” and “thee” for “the” in the last exclusion; “toassistance@dkv.lu”, where the preposition “to” is run into the e-mail address; “WillisTowers Watson” in one sentence against “Willis Towers Watson” in the next. All are as printed on the page, confirmed on the render.
- In the “What is not covered ?” box the red cross bullet glyphs are images, not text, and they are misaligned against the items on the page: the items “earthquake or other disasters” and “direct or indirect effects of fire, explosion, heat” carry no cross, while later lines of the nuclear paragraph carry one each. The seven exclusions were segmented from the semicolon-terminated sentences of the text layer, cross-checked against the render, and not from the bullet glyphs.
- target_audience is null: the document nowhere states a market segment (particuliers / entreprises / indépendants / secteur public). It states only who the insured persons are, which is recorded verbatim in target_audience_note.
- Text-layer quality checks on this file, all clean: the two pages extracted with page.get_text("text") are byte-identical to the text pasted in the prompt; no zero-width spaces, no soft hyphens, no NFD combining accents, no Private-Use-Area glyphs, no U+0007, no off-canvas text and no dropped ligatures. The only special characters are U+2019 curly apostrophes (5) and U+2009 thin spaces before “? : ;” throughout — the thin spaces are inside several key_quotes and were preserved as exact spans. The header title block is white type on the blue banner (it extracts as colour 16777215) and is normally printed and legible, not white-on-white.
- is_optional is false on all eight coverages: all eight are listed in the “What is covered by the insurance ?” box and the document marks none of them as optional or as an add-on. The document does not use the words “option” or “optional” at all.
