Lacunes d'extraction

  • PRINTED EDITORIAL DEFECT, verified on a render at 6x and PRESERVED, NOT REPAIRED. Page 1 carries the heading "What is insured ?" TWICE: once over the coverage box (left column, blocks at x 29-295) and once over the exclusions box (right column, blocks at x 307-566). The word "not" is missing from the second heading. The render shows the two boxes carry different icons - a green umbrella over the left box and the red cross-in-triangle over the right box - and every item in the right box is preceded by a red X and is exclusionary in content. The eleven items in that box have therefore been recorded as exclusions. The heading itself has not been corrected in any quoted text, and no sibling-language version of this IPID was consulted to confirm the intended wording.
  • GUARANTEE NAMED ONLY IN THE EXCLUSIONS BOX. "Top Assistance" appears as a bold guarantee heading in the exclusions box (with the exclusion "Driver with obvious signs of intoxication") but no Top Assistance guarantee appears anywhere in the coverage box, and the document never says what it covers. It has NOT been added to coverages; the exclusion is recorded with applies_to="Top Assistance". Confirmed on the render that no Top Assistance entry exists in the coverage box.
  • CARRIER UNDETERMINABLE. The document prints only the brand "LALUX Assurances" (header line "LALUX Assurances - Product : easyPROTECT PRO-Auto") and refers to the insurer as "the Company" / "the company". No legal form, no RCS number, no address and no supervisor are printed on either page. lalux is two separately authorised entities (LA LUXEMBOURGEOISE S.A., non-life, and LA LUXEMBOURGEOISE-VIE S.A., life) and naming neither does not allow one to be chosen. insurer_name is copied through from the task metadata as "lalux".
  • PRODUCT NAME INCONSISTENCY inside the document, both readings recorded. The header line prints "LALUX Assurances - Product : easyPROTECT PRO-Auto" and the top line prints "easyPROTECT PRO", while the body of "What type of insurance is it ?" says "easyPROTECT-Auto is an insurance that covers..." - without "PRO". product_name follows the explicit "Product :" line.
  • DUPLICATED RESTRICTION WITH A MISFILED HEADING, preserved as printed. In the "Are there any restrictions on cover ?" box the sentence "Death must have occurred immediately or after two years from the day of the accident" appears twice: once under the heading "Damage to the vehicule" (spelt "vehicule", a printed typo, and a heading under which a condition about death has no evident application) and once under "Death, disability and medical expenses coverage for occupants of a designated vehicle". Both are recorded verbatim in special_conditions and neither the spelling nor the placement has been corrected. The phrase "immediately or after two years" is also recorded as printed although "within two years" would be the usual formulation; no correction has been made.
  • PRINTED TYPOGRAPHIC INCONSISTENCY preserved: the driver's guarantee bullet prints "(e. g. prosthesis costs)" with a space inside the abbreviation and "(e.g. funeral costs)" without one, in the same sentence.
  • TERRITORIAL SCOPE ASSIGNMENT. "Where am I covered ?" gives two scopes. The first explicitly enumerates civil liability, legal protection, death, disability, medical expenses, occupants of a designated vehicle and the driver's guarantee, and those coverages carry it. The second applies to "insurance against damage to motorised land vehicles", and it has been assigned to Fire, Theft, Glass breakage and Damage to the vehicle by elimination - the document does not itself list which guarantee headings fall under that phrase. The full sentence including the qualifier is stored in territorial_scope so the assignment remains visible to a reader.
  • is_optional is null for every coverage. The document contains no formula or tier table, no "option" labels and no statement that any guarantee is optional or included. "Only applicable to vans" and "for taxis, ambulances (paid transport) and vans" are eligibility restrictions on the vehicle type, not statements of optionality, and are recorded in conditions.
  • edition_date is null: no edition date, version code or reference number is printed on either page, and no footer text exists below y=790 on page 1 or anywhere on page 2. Nothing has been promoted from the filename, which contains "vehicules-type-2"; the variant recorded is the printed subtitle "Vehicles other than cars and motorhomes".
  • branch is copied through as "auto" per the task metadata and fits the document, but note that the product's own scope sentence lists "caravans, motorcycles, etc." among the vehicles covered, so part of the content also falls under the Luxembourg "moto" branch.
  • No deductible / franchise, no waiting period and no prescription period are stated anywhere; deductibles and prescription_period are null and waiting_periods is empty rather than inferred.
  • Both exclusion-bearing boxes are closed by the label "Non-exhaustive list", and the disclaimer directs the reader to the general and/or special conditions, which are not part of this document. Sums insured are repeatedly deferred to the Special Conditions and are not stated here.
  • Character notes: the text layer contains U+2009 THIN SPACE (10 occurrences) before "?" in section headings and before ":" in the header product line - note in particular that the heading string is "What is insured\u2009?", so a plain-ASCII search for "What is insured ?" does not match. Also present: U+2013 EN DASH in the printed subtitle, U+201C/U+201D around "Vehicle damage", and U+2019 in "driver’s" and "company’s". All key_quotes were sliced programmatically as exact spans and preserve these characters. The prompt text was verified byte-identical to page.get_text("text") of the local PDF for both pages before extraction; the text was not truncated (2 pages).
